Color Trends Then
If we put it up on the comparison table you can notice there is a huge change in the color test and design. As Bangladesh was slowly moving on to the ladder of development, people were opting for better living conditions and
better home designs. Choosing the interior color was no different.
There are significant differences between today’s design and color and 1970-1990s designs and color choice. Back then the prominent color was mostly white and yellow. People at that time frame continued to adopt slight
changes of almost the same color pattern.
Then in the 1990 era, more economic growth and better circulation of money started to take place. We started to get influenced by different cultures more. Then people especially in Dhaka went for choosing exotic or unique
designs of their time.
Black, white, yellow, blue left a major imprint on that time’s home color trends. There were a significant shift in interior and house design concepts as well. There a shift from traditional design concepts was witnessed.
This made the path of trying out new designs more smooth for the next generations as well.
In the last few years of a small time frame, tremendous changes happened. Dhaka the capital city and other divisions have adopted changes to a great extent.
Besides, small cities and urban areas started a shift towards buildings with solid basements and interesting interior concepts within. In this time the traditional, classic, and transitional interior concept was introduced.
Speaking about the color trends, a major change was visible in this time frame. People were trying to get out of the existing color pattern. Blue, green, apple white, colors of different spectrums got introduced. Light and
deep shades were also heavily adopted in this time.
The matt, glossy, and different finishing styles also started to get popular in this same very period of time.
